Polish Legion of American Veterans

 

This is a P.L.A.V. Cap. The lettering appears to be hand stitched. It is from the Salem, Mass Stefan Starzynski Post 55. This cap was worn by the Drum and Bugle corps.

 

This is a 6 inch square ashtray with the P.L.A.V. emblem on the bottom. It dates to the 1960's or 1970's.

 

 

 

In 1992 P.L.A.V. Post 55 celebrate their 50th anniversary. These magnets were produced.

 

This medal was from the 11th National Convention held in Boston, Mass. in 1952. The medal was for delegate Kay Solodiuk of Salem, Mass.

 

     
Veterans of Foreign Wars

 

This is a size 7 3/8 size hat. It is from  Charles W Davis Post 2359 from Danvers Mass. It was the Jr. Vice Commander's in 1993-94.

     
American Legion

 

In 1926, the Massachusetts Department of the American Legion held their annual convention in Salem. This medal was given to the delegates, this one was worn by H.A. Rose of Walpole, Mass.

 

     
Disabled Veterans of America

 

This is the medal produced for the Disabled American Veterans Massachusetts Department. they held their annual convention in Salem in 1933.

 

     
Spanish American War Veterans

 

In 1913, the Massachusetts Department of Spanish American War Veterans held their annual encampment at Salem. This medal was produced by whitehead & Hoag for the occasion.

 

     
104th Infantry Association

 

In 1939, for the 20th reunion of Apremont Day, the 104th Infantry Association AEF has their convention in Salem, Mass. it was held May 5-6, 1939.
